Whether you’re just starting to search the net for freelance writing jobs or you’ve been doing it for yearsif you want to score jobs, this article is for you.
After searching high and low, every corner, every avenue, every gray areaevery freelance writing jobs site on the netI’ve come up with a top 5 list of the greatest freelance writing jobs listing sites. The following sites you need to visit daily if you want to bring in steady work. Jobs are being posted around the clock, and the best part is that these top five sites are free to use.
CraigsList.org is a massive database of classified ads and job listings. CraigsList.org will lead you to CraigsList San Francisco; whereas, all other major cities such as New York and Atlanta, are included in sub-domains. For instance, search for freelance writing jobs in Atlanta by going to atlanta.craigslist.org.
FreelanceWriting.com is first on all major search engines. The site contains a regularly updated freelance writing jobs listing in three fieldsHigh-Paying, Low-Paying, and Non-Paying. Since it’s such a popular site, you really have to watch the listings like a hawk if you’re to score jobs.
Indeed.com is an amazing search engine that pulls from sites such as Monster, CraigsList, and all major sites. You get all freelance writing jobs listings on the net at the convenience of one site.
GoldenProse.com presents a similar idea as Indeed. Through ten pages of RSS feeds, it pulls from at least 90% of freelance writing jobs listings on the net. Feeds are also organized by major US cities and particular key word searches.
WritersWeekly.com is another site that’s been around for a while, one that will show up on your first page of a major search engine. The freelance writing jobs listing is smaller, yet you don’t have to deal with the spammers and scammers who post at CraigsList.org and FreelanceWriting.com.

Exposing Your Expertise
One thing that I find amazing is how many contractors are unaware of how much they really know. The reason people hire home improvement services, albeit a new heating system or a kitchen remodel, is because they have no idea of what the process is, how much it costs, and what goes into the implementation of the project. A contractor’s knowledge and expertise is one of the most important marketing tools they have. Using, what we call “consumer education” provides you with several important advantages over your competition.
First, offering free information is a tremendously effective way to attract potential clients into your lead funnel. Think about it. When most people are interested in making a new purchase, especially a large purchase, the first thing they are going to do, is gather information.
When spending a large amount of money, on something they are very unsure of, they will gather information, to find out cost, time and process before implementing or purchasing this service. It is very rare for someone to walk off the street, and just throw down a large amount of money in your lap, without doing any research. Before they sign a contract, before they call a contractor, before they even know what they want, before all of this, they want to gather information. In nearly every case, before a potential client will call a contractor - any contractor - they seek out information.
One way to exercise your expertise and catch potential clients before they contact you, when they are in the research phase, is to write articles. Writing and leveraging articles is one of the most successful strategies not only to promote your services, but also it increases the optimization of your website, which will drive more traffic.
Here are some recommendations to implement this strategy:
1. Write the article.
This may sound self-evident, but a couple of pointers:
a) Keep it short, and make the language simple, especially if you’re targeting online. People don’t read word for word on the Web - rather, they’ll scan the screen. Complex sentences and dense copy will lose readers fast. Don’t use contracting jargon, but think of the potential client (housewife, 35-55) who will be reading the article.
b) Some good examples of story ideas would be:
How Replacement Windows Save You Money.
Cheap Ways To Remodel Your Kitchen .
The Importance of A Whole House Humidifier.
There are a hundred ideas for articles that you can write on.
If you have trouble coming up with an article idea, simply think of the most common questions your clients ask you, and write an article on that.
2. Publishing your article
A) First let’s think of offline publishing: Don’t try sending your articles to your local trade magazines, as potential clients do not read them. Send them to magazines or newspapers that your potential clients may read. Send it to the local newspaper. Walk into your nearest home improvement retail outlet. Look at all the magazines they have, and send it directly to the editor. Since you are a professional and expert in your industry, you might as well market and promote yourself as one. Magazines and Newspapers are always looking for content, and should have no problem publishing your article, if it relates to their readership.
B) Now, let’s discuss publishing your article online: One of the key goals of your website should be to showcase your expertise. Content (combined with testimonials and pictures) is the best way to achieve this.
When adding articles to your site:
a) Include a clear reprint policy. This should state whether you allow articles to be reprinted, and if so, under what terms (including your byline, copyright, notification of use, etc.)
b) If you have a large number of articles, provide an index page that divides them into appropriate subject groupings, and gives a two-line description of each.
c) Create a byline with an enticing hook to get people to visit your Website.
Once your article is on your own website, you should now submit it to other websites. You can find hundreds of websites that are always looking for content, simply type in your specialty in a search engine, and you now have thousands of potential sites that will publish your article.
Writing and distributing articles to online article directories is another very good way to get your article published, and drive traffic to your website.
By writing articles and getting them published, unlike your competitors who have to seek out their prospects, your prospects will come to you - automatically! They’ll “find you” first by reading your article, making you an expert in what they are searching. Then, if interested in pursuing their project, they’ll seek you out to help them solve their project problems. (If you had a problem - medical, legal, remodeling, etc., wouldn’t you want to go to the expert?).

No Credit Check Personal Loans - If You Need Fast Cash, A PayDay Loan Online Is a Very Quick Process
Online payday loans can get you fast cash through a very quick process. By processing applications online and depositing money into your checking account through direct deposit, you can have your cash advance within hours.
Instant Approval
Applications are processed electronically for near instant approval. There is no credit check involved with the cash advance company, so all they need to verify is your contact information, employment, and checking account. It is a faxless process, so you don’t have to have copies of old bank records or pay stubs.
Most payday loan lenders require you to be at least 18 years old, have a monthly income of at least $1000, and have a job for at least a month. Some lenders require additional terms, especially if you want to borrow over $500.
Comparing Payday Loan Stores
You can quickly compare online payday loan stores to find the lowest rate. By federal law, lenders must post the rates in terms of annual percent rate, even though your loan could only be for a short period. This makes comparing the APR rate easy. Be sure to look for any application fees too.
Quick Cash
Payday loans get cash in your hands quickly. The amount you can borrow depends largely on the state you live in. Most states allow you to borrow between $500 and $1000.
Once you have received your approval notice through email, your cash will be deposited overnight. No checks to cash. No waiting in line. The money is right there for you to access.
Easy Repayment Plans
Repayment plans are just as easy as the application process. By default, you payday lender will withdraw the minimum payment from your checking account on your next payday. This amount may include only the interest charges or a part of the principle, depending on your state’s laws. However, if you want to pay the entire balance or part of it, you just contact your lender.
When a financial emergency arrives, remember that within an hour you can have your cash advance loan approved with cash coming the next day. With a job and a checking account, you don’t need to worry about poor credit to get approved.

Hey, FACTNet - Where’s the Beef?
A business acquaintance of mine mentioned how the personal-growth company she works for is tacitly assumed to be a cult by FACTNet.org. I browsed over and discovered that sure enough, there are many FACTnet message board posters pointing the finger at their organization and screaming “Cult! Cult!”.
Knowing that my religion is judged by some to be a cult, I used the search function on FACTNet to discover that, sure enough, there are even MORE people pointing at my religion and yelling the same thing.
So, I read around a little on the site to discover why FACTNet believes my religion and my friend’s company are cults. Surely there must be somewhere where they give a list of criteria and objectively judge point by point whether a given organization qualifies for such a dubious title.
I found some very interesting things. On one page FACTNet offers an answer to a very important question:
“Anybody can unfairly attack a group they disagree with by calling it a cult or saying they are using coercive mind control. How does FACTNet prevent this type of problem and determine fairly whether or not a group is a cult?”
Wow! Great question! Here is their answer:
“FACTNet uses specific criteria to determine if a mind control system has been used, and does not suggest organizations are destructive or dangerous cults without careful research and determination that the evidence fits definite criteria.” (emphasis added)
Wow! Great answer! Only one problem, FACTNet, where’s the beef? With Google’s help, I searched all 75,600 pages of the website looking for the pages where FACTNet discloses the results of their “careful research” of both the organizations in question. Found nothing. I repeat, I found no listing anywhere on their site as to how they came to the reputation-damning conclusion that both my religion and my friend’s business where cults. Nichts, nada.
What I DID find were discussion boards where former members of both organizations lambast them for all their past and present faults and shortcomings — both real and perceived (but wait, didn’t Jesus say, “let he who is without sin cast the first stone?”).
I also found that FACTNet has a listing of links to newspaper and web articles about members of my church (who apparently never listened in Sunday School) who were convicted for child abuse. So, is THAT the standard? If a religion has members who, against the teachings of their church, abuse children, then the religion is a de facto cult? If so, FACTnet, please tell us which religion has no child molesters, so we can all convert!
But, I digress. Not being able to find the all-important “careful research”, I read through the list of criteria of how to tell if a group is a “destructive cult”. As I read, I reviewed in my mind what I knew about my religion, of which I have been an active member — attending weekly and serving in one capacity or another for over 35 years. Can you imagine my surprise to discover that my religion does not qualify based on their criteria? Yet, there they are, treated on the site as if they are some kind of wacked-out fruitcakes.
So, why? Why are both these and other organizations being targeted by this site without presenting their “careful research”? I can only venture a guess. The site’s founder, Lawrence Wollersheim, was in a 22-year legal battle with the Church of Scientology, of which he is a disgruntled former member. He won a $8.9 million settlement. Hmmm… maybe he’s fishing for more deep-pockets to sue — I don’t know.
And another possibility. Doesn’t it stand to reason, whether Scientology is actually a cult or not, that Wollersheim wears “cult-colored” glasses? We tend to see what we believe. So Lawrence, reading down the same list of criteria for dangerous cults, would probably judge my religion and my friend’s organization as cults solely because he is predisposed to agree with disgruntled former members. But has he ever actually VISITED either? Has he actually done this all-important research? If so, Lawrence, where’s the beef?
While his website allows people to vent their spleens on various organizations, he offers no objective analysis of any organization against their touted list of criteria. Again, Wollersheim, where’s the beef?

Traveling Alone: A Woman’s Guide
The idea of traveling to exotic places alone conjures up images of the lonely woman bent over her evening meal with three empty chairs around the table. A long “Ohhh! How sad!” usually follows. Thankfully, reality is much different than this dismal image. A woman traveling alone has the advantage of planning her days of museum-hopping and bazaar-shopping without the need to compromise for a visit to the newly-constructed sports arena. She can talk to shop owners without looking over her shoulder at the entrance to see if her companion is still nearby. With a little planning, she can have the trip-of-a-lifetime, all the while feeling sorry for the people in groups who are as miserable as they think she is.
When planning to travel alone, safety is a priority. Whether tripping domestically or internationally, there are precautions that should be followed. For example, when you encounter a hotel clerk who says your room number aloud as he hands you the key, you should go to that room and immediately call the front desk. Ask for a different room. Don’t unpack. Don’t have a glass of water. Just call and ask for a new room. You should inform the manager that you’re changing rooms because your old room number is not confidential. If you must stay in a less-than-secure hotel, you should ask for a room on the top floor (or, at least not at street level). Verify that there’s a telephone in the room and that it works. Always get a room with dead-bolt locks and keep your room secure at all times. It’s best not to travel with heirlooms or expensive jewelry but if you forgot or your aunt just gave you a gift that you have to carry with you through the trip, always ask to put it in the hotel safe. Always get a signed receipt from the hotel clerk. And never wear the jewelry when you’re going sightseeing or bar-hopping.
Keeping your passport safe is actually pretty easy. Don’t put it in your purse or an outside pocket. Travel stores carry small pouches that are worn inside your clothing and are closed with Velcro. Invest in one of these cool pouches and keep both your passport and any transportation tickets (such as a rail pass) tucked neatly inside. The same goes for travelers’ checks. Never keep your checks and your receipts in the same place; keep the receipts in your main suitcase and take out only the checks you’ll need for the day. These day-checks should be kept in a secure “inside-the-clothing” pouch.
If you’re traveling internationally, you’ll have lots of different kinds of currency. Clerks in foreign countries love to give coins as change to Americans. It’s easier for them and it’s more difficult for you to exchange. If you don’t catch onto them, you’ll find yourself weighed down by the heavy jingle-jangle of change and you’ll need a massage before you leave that cute ancient ruin. Learn the values of currency for the country you’re visiting, and always ask for your change in paper money. Before deciding to leave the country, take out a couple of small bills for your scrapbook and exchange the rest into the currency for the next country instead of American dollars. Your rate of exchange will be better and you won’t pay an exchange fee twice.
As you venture into single-life travel, know that you’re one of the lucky few who can actually make this choice. It’s too much fun to chat-it-up with people along the way, learn about their family heritage and become one of their favorite visitors. You’ll find life-long friends as you step aboard foreign trains or have a cocktail in the plush lounge of an urban boutique hotel. Have fun with it…and travel safe.

Book Ends
In the responsibility we have as Christians, we are
displayed before non believers as a set of books that
should be read. Once the Holy Spirit comes upon us, our
library grows into the fruits that are produced in our
Christian walk.
Gal. 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Why is love listed first? Because God is love. Everything He
does is through love, a perfect love. From love all these
other things will follow. Without love the Holy Spirit can not
operate in your life. Love is the greatest of ALL things.
As we walk in love, our Christian walk will then develop the
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentless and the self-control. Self-control being at the other
end of the scale.
Self-control holds up all the other things that come from
Love. If we can not be in self-control, none of these other
things could stand up. A lack of self-control only shows that
the world is still operating in our lives. Our anger can not
show others who Christ is in us. Anger creates a bad
atmosphere, it causes others to withdrawal from us as well
as the Holy Spirit which would leave us because of grief.
Anger from a human standpoint is done out of pride,
frustration, conceit, self righteousness and therefore doesn’t
contain the attributes of a loving, sovereign God.
God doesn’t author this feeling because nothing good can
come from it. It creates an atmosphere not only in us, but
those around us of sadness, unrest, anxiety, evil,
unfaithfulness, and abuse. Get the picture? It is the creation
of a lie from hell and if it’s not stopped, it will be the ruination
of many that get involved. This is the enemy’s plan. He
removes the bookends and we soon fall down.
But Love and Self-Control are like the perfect bookends of
our lives that is held together by Faith. Faith is the
substance of all things hoped for but the things that are
unseen the Bible tells us. Faith is the creation of the fruits of
the Spirit that create who we are in our Christian walk with
Christ.
Without faith, nothing we do as a person counts for anything.
It doesn’t matter what we do to show people we are a “good
person” on the outside, if we go home and mistreat our
families. God sees our hearts.
Jm. 2:17 “Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead being by
itself.”
James was saying that without true faith in the Holy Spirit to
guide us, nothing we can possibly do on our own is any
good. It’s dead, it doesn’t live because it can’t produce any
genuine works by itself. Christ came to redeem us of our
sins, our insufficiency as humans. God knew we could not
possibly come to Him and be worthy on our own. Only
Jesus could change us into souls worthy to come to God,
through the sacrifice of His blood. All we have to do is
accept that blood, ask God to cover us with forgiveness of
sins and He will send us the Comforter that covers us with
the fruits of the Spirit. The human heart is naturally wicked
and therefore, we can not humanly possible do anything
“good” enough for God to accept us. Only the blood of Christ
is the ingredient that can transform our hearts into the heart
that God sees as one that is after His own heart. It now
produces the fruits of the Spirit.
Jm. 2: 18 “But someone may well say, “You have faith, and I
have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will
show you my faith by my works.”
To sum this all up, faith without love, kindness, peace, joy,
patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self
control are useless. Faith doesn’t come only through
hearing, but also through doing.
Are your bookends of faith in place? What will people read in
between the bookends of your life?
If there is something missing or out of place in between the
bookends of your life, get quiet and ask God to show you
what you need.
Remember that our actions do speak louder than our
words. What do your actions show others? Do people draw
away from you or do they draw near to you? Examine
yourself today through God’s Word.

living Word and make it come to life for those who need to

L. Ron Hubbard, Jr. Blows the Whistle
L. Ron Hubbard, Jr. Blows the Whistle
When L. Ron Hubbard actually died there was a different air of open investigation that American media was involved with. The Church of Scientology had not adequately proven they had the goods on other religions and nations using mind control against their flock and so they had not been granted tax free status. Germany and France are still engaged in trying to tell the truth about them. Time Magazine did a lot of good work around this time and they were backed by the likes of the FBI but now anyone in the media who tells any truth about Scientology will have a lot of legal expenses and they are also blackballed by the members of this church just like the Baptists have done to Disney and Catholics or others do all the time. I have chosen a little of a Penthouse Magazine article for your consideration.
In the Penthouse interview with L. Ron Hubbard Jr. we have the following starting with them asking about the supposed research done to make the book Dianetics which I had recommended to my younger brother before he got involved with them:
“Penthouse: ‘Did he write the book off the top of his head? Did he do any research?’
Hubbard: ‘No research at all. When he has answered that question over the years, his answer has changed according to which biography he was writing. Sometimes he used to write a new biography every week. He usually said that he had put thirty years of research into the book. But no, he did not. What he did, really, was take bits and pieces from other people and put them together in a blender and stir them all up - and out came Dianetics! All the examples in the book - some 200 “real-life experiences” - were just the result of his obsessions with abortions and unconscious states…
In fact, the vast majority of those incidents were invented off the top of his head. The rest stem from his own secret life, which was deeply involved in the occult and black-magic. That involvement goes back to when he was sixteen, living in Washington. D.C. He got hold of the book by Aleister Crowley called ‘The Book of Law’. He was very interested in several things that were the creation of what some people call the Moon Child. It was basically an attempt to create an immaculate conception - except by Satan rather than by God. Another important idea was the creation of what they call embryo implants - of getting a satanic or demonic spirit to inhabit the body of a fetus. This would come about as a result of black-magic rituals, which included the use of hypnosis, drugs, and other dangerous and destructive practices. One of the important things was to destroy the evidence if you failed at this immaculate conception. That’s how my father became obsessed with abortions. I have a memory of this that goes back to when I was six years old. It is certainly a problem for my father and for Scientology that I remember this. It was around 1939, 1940, that I watched my father doing something to my mother. She was lying on the bed and he was sitting on her, facing her feet. He had a coat hanger in his hand. There was blood allover the place. I remember my father shouting at me. “Go back to bed!” A little while later a doctor came and took her off to the hospital. She didn’t talk about it for quite a number of years. Neither did my father.’”
Talk about early life trauma and issues of a psychological nature! L. Ron Jr. is not going into a lot of detail here and he is speaking to people who couldn’t relate to the practices involved. So when he speaks of Satan he is using something that the reader might relate to. The real spirit involved is called Babalon and is the feminine aspect of God that goes by many names back to Isis.
The truth of the matter is that such spiritual force is not understood by anyone who engages in such practices and probably no one at all, who is alive on this earth. Representational deities to describe natural forces have been the object of great hallucinatory wizardry throughout the ages. The evocation of spirits is part of many, and indeed all religions. I have personally engaged in exorcisms with no need of such imagery and purely with awareness of physiological psychic points that tie in with acupuncture. The Catholic highly trained exorcists are even worse at the matter of projecting evil imagery of a hallucinatory nature. This practice has much to do with what Crowley says ties him in with Levi and is related to willing partners allowing another soul to take over their body. I do have more to tie this in with Masons and Rosicrucians of a personal nature as well. They also say ‘immaculate conception’ but it is through the practitioner or ‘working partner’ that the spirit acts. The Wiccans call this ‘Drawing Down the Moon’ and I can assure you that some of these sorcerers are simply using this practice for purely personal sexual power needs. I have gone into a painful event in my life relating to a love of mine who was so used by a supposed friend engaging in the use of this ritual.

Three Questions To Ask Yourself Before You Buy Toys For Your Kids
Some toys are over hyped and others that I quite like, are never advertised. When I see new toys or the kid wants something she saw on TV, I usually ask myself “What can this toy be used for” and “How long will it keep the kid interested.” The last question I sometimes never ask, cause I never get that far is “Does the toy teach anything or does it build imagination or some other characteristic.”
These three questions, hopefully will give me an idea about the usefulness and longevity of the new toy. If the toy passes the first two questions then it is into the realm of learning. Some toys never make it this far, they are just ornaments. I don’t look at the safety aspect as most toys are safe, but I am careful with little bits and pieces.
For the first question I think about what you can do with the toy. Whether you can play alone or with friends. Can it be used with other toys to do other things, or is it a one hit wonder.
As an example we will use the Star Wars Darth Vader Mask. This little toy is very popular because of the film, but I think its usefulness is very limited. You could use it in pretend play but how long will that last. I would say this type of toy is used for sharing, a sort of play and share toy to see who can come up with the most outrageous line. It is not really the type of toy you could play with by yourself.
For the second question I think this toy would be discarded quite early, as there seems to be very little to keep the kid amused. Once you have said your few lines what do you then. Then again there are all the accessories to buy to go with the mask, like the clothes and boots. The money is in the accessories these days. Unless your kid wants to be an actor I would not get around to asking the third question.
The toys I do like are the LEGOS, the MEGA BLOKS and the PLAYMOBILS that the kids use to build things. Gone are the days when I was young and LEGO was a bucket of bricks that you could make anything with. The only limit was your imagination.
Nowadays imagination has gone out the door to be replaced with an operator’s manual so you get all the bricks and accessories in the right place. They are still fun to do. The finished product is a beautiful crafted masterpiece that usually ends up on top of the piano or coffee table until the cat destroys it.
So far for my kid the max is three times to redo one. So I would say the novelty wears off after three attempts. These toys build finishing ability and teach how to follow a plan. Also they are good for a rainy afternoon as they can take some time to finish. But the downside is they can be very pricey.
For these toys the answer to the first questions would be– the kid can build something. They can see the finished product and match it with the picture to see if it is correct. The next answer would be they can remake it or make there own design. And for the last question I would say the kid should definitely learn something while putting the blocks together.
Using these three questions I somehow manage to buy what I consider to be useful toys. Therefore I am not swamped by the advertising hype or the “Keeping up with the Jones” sort of thing.

The Importance Of A Good Child Care Business Plan
Caring for children can be rewarding on many different levels, not only financial but psychological as well. The satisfaction the skilled child care worker gains from a job well done stretches far beyond the amount of money to be made.
==It Is Important To Show That Your Child Care business Can Turn A Profit==
Even though financial considerations may not be the prime motivation for opening a child care business, it is still important that others be able to see how the business can turn a profit.
After all, a child care business is still a business, and starting such a business will require the preparation of a solid and professional child care business plan.
It is hard to overstate the importance of a successful child care business plan to the success of such a competitive business. A good business plan will outline the new business’ strategy for success, and help explain what sets it apart from the existing competition.
==How Do You Plan On Marketing The Business==
Setting yourself apart from the competition is important for any new business owner, but it can be even more important for those people planning to open an education based or child care focused business.
It is important for your business plan to outline how you plan to market the business effectively, and how you plan to make the business profitable in the least amount of time.
==The Business Plan Can Help You Get Financed==
The business plan you create will be vital to obtaining the startup financing needed to get a child care business off the ground.
There are certainly a large number of items to be purchased for a new child care business, including chairs, desks, teaching supplies, playground equipment, etc. This equipment can be quite costly, and few child care businesses can succeed without startup funding or outside investors.
That is why a complete and professional child care business plan is so important. No potential investor or lender will be willing to loan you money or partner with you unless he or she is convinced you can make a go of the business. Your business plan, therefore, should carefully outline your strategy for success.
==Structuring Your Business Properly==
A good child care business plan will also be important to limiting any potential legal liability such a business can engender.
It is important to structure a business property in order to limit liability, and a business plan, carefully reviewed by a competent attorney, can be a good first step in such liability planning.
