Reciprocal linking is an inevitable part of the life of any webmaster. Incoming links are valuable because the rankings in Google depend in large part on the amount and quality of these links, and because incoming links provide a steady stream of traffic.

While most discussions on reciprocal linking deal with the problems of getting links and finding partners, an equally big problem is how to manage a link directory and handle the numerous requests for reciprocal links sent to you even after you have ceased trying to get new links.

There are many webmasters who just delete these requests, in the same way that they delete other unsolicited e-mail. Handling link requests manually takes a lot of time. You must first go online, look at the site that has sent you a request.

Then, if you want to link to them you have to edit the html page where you keep your links, upload it and finally write an email to the person who has requested the link and inform her that the link is now active. If you get three or four link requests in one day (as I got today), processing them could take up a good part of your morning.

I hardly ever deleted these requests but put them in a pending folder which I never got around to dealing with, until I finally decided to find an automated way to handle this work.

I shopped around and found a site that provides a link management service for the price of $20 per month. They set up your links directory, and once it is in place, all link requests must come through a form placed on your site. When someone fills out the form you get notification.

You go online and look at the request, and if you like it you “press a button” and approve the link. The link is automatically placed on the proper page of your directory and an email gets sent to the person who requested the link. It would take just a few minutes to handle a link request in this way.

However, I wasn’t ready to pay $20 a month for this service and looked around for another solution. There are software programs which, when installed on your own server, do the same kind of directory management but at a far lower price. I found one such software, a PHP script that uses a MySQL data base. The price was great, free of charge. However I had trouble installing it, and wanted to try one of the low cost link management programs that I also came upon during my search for a solution to this problem.

Finally I settled on Reciprocal Link Manager (http://tinyurl.com/5yjkw). What tipped me in favor of the program is that the owner himself uses it on his own sites. I paid $67, and got a PHP script. The directions for uploading the files, changing the file permissions on the server and setting up a MySQL data base were very easy to follow and I set up the directory on a few of my websites without any problem.

The Reciprocal Link Manager produces static pages that are search engine friendly. It is also easy to customize the directory to look like the rest of your site. In addition you can import your old links into your new directory.

The program provides all the functionality of the more expensive online services and gives you a system which enables you to handle several link requests in a very short time. In addition, one component of the program helps you to find new link partners, add their site details to your directory and send reciprocal link requests to them.

Now whenever links are sent to me, if they fit with the theme of my site I add them immediately, instead of deleting them or stuffing them in a folder that I will never get a chance to deal with. If you would like to save time, but also continue to build your site’s link directory, I recommend that you go for an automated solution to the task of link management.

Neutropenia is a disorder of the circulatory system. It occurs when someone’s nuetrophil granulocyte count becomes inordinately low. A type of white blood cell, nuetrophil granulocytes usually constitute about fifty to seventy percent of white blood cells in the circulatory system. These act as a first line of defense against invading bacteria. When nuetropenia occurs, the body becomes susceptible to these invading pathogens. Symptoms of the disease include fever, mouth ulcers, diarrhea, chills, shortness of breath, and a sore throat.

It is usually agreed that there are four classifications of neutropenia. This is done by measuring what is called the “absolute neutropenia count,” or ANC. If a microliter of blood contains less than two thousand counts, it is termed general neutropenia. With this condition, there is an above average chance of acquiring an infection due to decreased white blood cells. This is the least severe of the classifications. Mild neutropenia occurs when the ANC count drops below the fifteen hundred level, and yet is above the one thousand count mark. Moderate neutropenia occurs between one thousand and five hundred ANC, and severe neutropenia is marked by any ANC below five hundred. If one is diagnosed with severe neutropenia, there is a good chance that they are in danger of an imminent infection.

There are five main types of the latter kind of neutropenia, the most severe form. The first is congenital neutropenia. This type occurs at birth. It is one of the rarest types and can be one of the most difficult to deal with. This condition can cause bone deterioration, tooth loss, and gum erosion. The second type of the disease is the cyclical variety. It occurs in phases, usually once every three weeks. It lasts from three to six days per occurrence. When this condition occurs, it is not uncommon for it to be shared among several members of one family. Its severity usually subsides somewhat after puberty.

Idiopathic neutropenia usually develops during or shortly after another illness. It seems that when a gateway opens and an opportunity presents itself, this condition takes advantage of it and secures a place for itself with the body. Autoimmune neutropenia is characterized by the body, essentially, fighting itself; neutrophils are identified as foreign enemies and the body works to destroy them. Neutropenia can also be induced by artificial, chemical means. Drugs introduced into the body can act to completely eliminate the body’s white blood cells, creating a dangerous environment in which bacteria can thrive.

Peer-to-Peer network, Local Area Networks (LAN), a Wide Area Network (WAN), Wireless Networks, and the Internet, are all computer networks. They all have the same basic purpose; to share software, and information resources between two or more computers. As with anything else that is shared between computers, networks let users share files, and wherever files are shared, viruses can be shared and spread.

Most network virus/worm/Trojan activity is like what we described earlier, although more and more examples of automatic mass mailing attacks, system resource attacks are being found.

Recently many attacks are designed to specifically target major corporate interests (Microsoft, eBay, Amazon, major Banks etc.) in an attempt to disrupt their online services. Very generally these are called DOS (denial of service) attacks. The way they most commonly work is by secretly infecting thousands of local user computers (like the one you are using right now), and then at a specific time, launching a combined attack from all the infected machines against the primary target.

As you can see, your computer can be hijacked without your knowledge and then used in a major attack against an unsuspecting company. However with up-to-date virus/firewall protection, your computer will be immune to such hijacking.

Other ways by which virus spreads

Other sources of viruses have been found to be the result of software downloads available over the Internet. Software patches, drivers, demonstration software, from reputable companies, generally carries little risk. However, the Internet is also filled with “unofficial” software, pirated programs, and low-budget software from questionable sources that may be intentionally or unintentionally infected with viruses. Files downloaded directly from the Internet (either through file-sharing programs or direct download from websites), are among the fastest growing sources of computer virus infections.

Email, with its nearly universal availability and ease of use; chat rooms and messenger systems, not only make communication simple and quick, also make the transmission and re-transmission of infection simple and alarmingly fast. Creators of newer viruses, and internet worms specifically target these systems because they are widely used, and are often built right into the operating system and used with default settings making them much easier to attack and exploit.

As a point of reference, Internet Explorer, and Outlook/Outlook express email clients are two of the applications most targeted by Internet viruses and worms. Why? Because they are installed on more computers around the world than any other software, and they are installed 99% of the time with default settings (which means virus programmers have an easy blueprint to follow).

If you use an email system or instant message system that is installed automatically with your computer’s operating system you need to install and use current antivirus software. You also need to learn how to turn off certain default settings that can leave your system open to very easy attack.

Introduction This is the second installment in a 2-part article series on creating more intimacy and passion in your relationship. Intimacy-Building Strategies An important first-step in bringing more novelty and excitement into your relationship is to lay the foundation for intimacy. Gay men can often confuse sex with intimacy. While sex certainly is important and has its place in fostering connection with your partner, there is much more that goes into cementing a sense of closeness with each other. Sex is just part of the recipe for intimacy; there are deeper, core ingredients that must be present for a relationship to be maintained in the long-term. Intimacy is a process that develops over time. It’s the ability to risk being vulnerable with your lover, to share yourself openly and to reciprocally meet each other’s needs while respecting each other’s differences. It’s about making your relationship a private haven from the world for comfort and security, a place where you can be uninhibited and free to be yourself.

Here are some tips for promoting more intimacy in your relationship and creating a foundation from which all your interactions and inner-feelings can grow.

4.Be Fully Present: Make your relationship a priority and recognize the fact that effort is required to keep it growing and satisfying. Look at your relationship with conscious intent and be attentive to it and each other. Never take each other for granted.

It cannot be emphasized enough that these characteristics are essential for allowing your partnership to progress in a positive direction. While the behavioral strategies for increasing passion to be discussed next can help to “keep the flame burning” between you and your lover, there is no substitute for the above-mentioned qualities. The passion-building tips will be superficial and meaningless unless you have the foundation set to incorporate them into your stable relationship.

Passion-Building Activities The following is a list of possible ideas to “try on for size” in maximizing “the heat” in your relationship. Take these suggestions at face value and don’t underestimate the fact that nothing is hotter than having a man in your life who loves you unconditionally for who you are and who is there for you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Pick and choose the ones you like the best and make up your own. The only rule is to be creative and fun!

Make a ” Pleasings List”. Each of you write down what you can imagine your partner doing that would be pleasing to you and then compare notes. Make it a practice to tackle the items on each other’s lists.

Be playful. Tickle and wrestle with your partner, crack jokes, make each other laugh. Counter the seriousness with silliness.

Have a regular “Date Night”. Avoid getting caught up in the hectic hustle-bustle of life at the expense and neglect of your boyfriend. Plan at least one night out a week for a date, just the two of you, where you have fun and don’t discuss any serious issues. Really look deeply at your partner and recognize what attracts you to him. Mix it up with some adventure dates (eg. road trips, skiing, etc.).

Surprise your partner. Do the unexpected. Take sexy photos of yourself and stick them in his work briefcase. Let him come home to find you naked on the kitchen table. Write him love notes, give him little gifts and cards, sing to him on his voicemail, anything! Keep him on his toes!

Spice up your sex life with more novelty and creativity. Try new places to make love, try new positions, and share your fantasies. Let loose with ideas that you’re both comfortable with.

Show more demonstrations of nonsexual affection: hugging, kissing, touching, cuddling, massaging, and verbal declarations of adoration.

Volunteer for a cause that you both care about and do it together.

Balance individual vs. couple time. It’s important that you each have your own lives separate from the relationship as well. Having your own interests helps bring more freshness and vitality into the relationship.

Create rituals to celebrate special occasions and make them a regular tradition. These become relationship milestones that are unique to the two of you as a couple.

Conclusion Reconnecting with the man you first fell in love with will go a long way toward enriching your relationship. Keep the courtship dance going in your partnership, no matter how long you’ve been togetherit is possible! Tijuana is many things: a sprawling city approaching two million in population, a vibrant and prosperous business center with many foreign-owned factories, the main entry to the entire Baja California peninsula, and much more.

Only 18 miles from San Diego, Tijuana is a shopper’s paradise. It’s in a duty-free zone, so you can buy not only Mexican arts and crafts but also imported goods from around the world. Mostly, visitors go for the day, shopping, having a meal, perhaps playing golf as well. It’s not a place for historic buildings or much in the way of museums, but sporting events to watch include jai alai, bullfights, and horse racing. For children, Tijuana Wax Museum and Mundo Divertido (Fun World) are popular. Tijuana used to be known mainly for activities distinctly not for children, but while that aspect of life still exists, it is now just a part of the wide spectrum of what Tijuana is.

The shopping is centered on a street called Revolution Avenue. There are 10 or 12 blocks offering every product imaginable. Credit cards and dollars are widely accepted.

For a more total immersion, stay overnight — there are some nice Tijuana hotels. Just a few miles south is Rosarito Beach, with resorts, condos, and hotels.

Travel to Tijuana

One of the most enjoyable ways to travel to Tijuana is to catch the inexpensive Tijuana Trolley at the San Diego Train Station. It runs frequently and takes you right to the border. Or you can drive to the border and leave your car in one of several large parking lots, for a few dollars a day. From there you can walk or take a shuttle bus to Revolution Avenue, about a 20 minute walk. Once you cross the border, there are also taxis available too.

You can drive into Tijuana, and may want to if you are planning some large purchases like furniture. One downside to this is that there can be longer lines for leaving Mexico in vehicles than if you are walking. Also, check on your car insurance before entering Mexico.

Tijuana has an international airport, with several flights a day going to other parts of Mexico. The main airlines using the airport are Aerocalifornia, Mexicana, and AeroMexico.

All in all, it’s easy to get to Tijuana.

Explore and discover the real you and persuade yourself to like whoever you are. The most important person and the only person you talk and listen to on an ongoing basis is the one inside your own mind.

Build better relationships.

Treat others well and with respect, appreciate them and you will get the same treatment. Invest time, energy, spirit and your heart into your relationships. Commit to promote each others’ welfare and happiness. Avoid misunderstandings and frustrations by communicating effectively. Share your concerns and understanding each others values and rules.

Create new things.

Do something different to create new interests. Working on new things personally and professionally motivates and increases your chances for personal growth and satisfaction. You will build better life skills, create new opportunities and meet new and interesting people.
