Increase Your Web Site Traffic With Link Building
Looking for a way to increase traffic to your web site? More traffic to you web site can increase sales and advertising revenue. Once your web site is completed, the actual costs of running the web site are very minimal.
The challenge now is to get more visitors to your web site. You can purchase PPC (Pay per Click) but that can add up very quickly. If you are paying 10 cents a click, and you get 100 people clicking per day, your costs just went up $10. Now multiply that by 30 days and you are spending at least $300 just for clicks. Out of all those people clicking, very few will purchase anything and your advertising dollars are not working very well.
However, there are some options that will not cost anything but will require some work.
First thing is to list your website at a free web directory, such as http://www-wide-world-directory.com (wide-world-directory) and then seek out other directories that will list you web site for free. This starts producing backlinks (links from other web sites to your web site).
The more links, the higher your web site will rank when someone is searching on of the search engines like Google. When creating links, you do not want the text in the link to say your website. You want the text to be keywords about your web site.
Another option is to use a blog and write articles that are related to your web site. Put a link on the side of the blog. If you provide good content, the search engines will spider your site and again, the link will help with popularity.

A Tragic Loss in Albania’s Media Industry
Dritan Hoxha, an Albanian businessman and owner of Top Media, Albania’s largest media group, was killed in a car accident in Tirana on May 23, 2008. He crashed his Ferrari Fiorano into a tree in one of Tirana’s main boulevards and he died while being transported to Tirana Military Hospital. It was also confirmed that a 27-year old woman, Entela Hysko, was with him inside the car during the crash where she died instantly. Somewhat ironically, the late Hoxha, who was known as a man who was never afraid to take risks, was not able to escape death in the unfortunate incident.
The death of Dritan Hoxha is one of the worst issues that Albania has ever faced in its entire media history. The 39-year old Hoxha was a notable key player in the media industry since he was responsible for expanding Albanian media into the most developed media infrastructure in Europe. He was also instrumental in introducing professionalism in Albanian media.
Born on October 16, 1968, Dritan Hoxha founded Top Media Group, which included a pay television platform. Additionally, Hoxha founded Digit-Alb, a pay TV digital platform; Digitalb Mobile, a mobile-phone band broadcaster; Top Channel TV, known for providing 6 high definition channels; Top Albania Radio; VGA advertising agency; and Shqip, a daily Albanian newspaper. The death of this Albanian media mogul, who brought Albanian media to the height of liberalism and professionalism, indeed marks a great loss in Albanian society.

Marketing Tourism Online, Part Two: Attracting Visitors to your Website
This is part two of an article series which will introduce some basic strategies, considerations, elements, and techniques for marketing tourism products online. We plan to update and refine these articles as situations change and when we have new knowledge to present. If you have comments or questions, or you are interested in Leave Home’s travel marketing consulting services, please visit www.leave-home.com or contact the author directly. You can also request to be notified when a new article in the series is available.
GETTING THE WORD OUT
Your site does no good if nobody visits. Put your website address on everything you produce that goes in the hands and in front of the eyes of your customers, distributors, and other audiences: in your email messages; on your brochures; on your letterhead; on handouts at presentations; on company vehicles; etc. Mention the address when you are speaking with potential customers and in audio communications.
SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING
Optimize your website for indexing by search engines, and above all, get other sites to link to yours. Most of the popular search engines, including Google, base their rankings on key word and phrase relatedness to the search and the popularity of your site as measured by the number and popularity of the sites that link to it. You’ll usually need to be in the top 20-30 results for the most important related search terms to really benefit.
The other major determinant in search engine ranking is the amount of content on the site that matches or approximates the search terms…so, a site with more content is likely to be ranked higher.
Make sure search engine “spiders” or “robots” can crawl through your pages (follow links to all the pages on your site). If your site is built entirely in Flash or another multimedia plug-in (offfer a plain HTML version!), or generates most pages dynamically, you will need to take special steps to ensure that your site can be indexed.
Get your site listed and linked in portal websites covering tourism sectors, destinations, and lifestyles related to your offerings–generally, for free. Trade links with related sites. These activities not only help with search engine rankings, but will be a source of visitors by themselves.
There are many factors that affect rankings, and they are weighted differently by each engine. Despite these differences, you will be on the right path if your site has plenty of content that contains the search words or phrases your customers will use, if you include key search words and phrases in the page text and in the TITLE tags in your HTML pages, and if you can get a few dozen pages on related sites to link to your site. It can help to bold or italicize some of the main key phrases in the text of your web page and to put them in heading tags (, etc).
Generally, you do not need to bother resubmitting your site to the major search engines once you have done this for the first time. They will continue indexing changes to your site as they are made. Check your site access logs–you’ll see that their robots keep returning to your site! It may not be worth your time or resources to keep returning to some of the minor engines that are slower to update without your involvement, unless they are important to a target market! The major ones are used worldwide and have multiple language versions.
Consider buying pay-per-click advertisements in popular search engines like Google and Yahoo!. You’ll never pay more than you specify per click and per day, and these can be very effective while you are still working to build a search engine ranking that puts your website on the first page!
BEYOND SEARCH ENGINES
Include tools on your site for visitors to tell others about your website, products and destinations! Consider using electronic postcard tools or offering subscriptions to free email newsletters (which should, of course, contain links to your site!). The topics of email newsletters and multimedia tools will be covered in subsequent articles in this series.
Consider writing articles for submission to Web article banks, sites which offer free articles for use in websites, email newsletters, and other communications (You may be reading this article via an article bank submission!). In return for use of your article, you receive a listing of your name and company and a link to your website. This can also be a good way to establish yourself or your organization as an “expert” in your field or tourism domain.
Also consider frequenting relevant Usenet discussion lists (e.g., rec.travel.japan) and Web-based bulletin boards, or joining email discussion groups, to offer advice in your area of expertise or about your destinations. Don’t spam and do follow their rules of “netiquette”, or online behavior. Do include your Web address and a short business description with your “signature” at the bottom of your responses. Not only will you attract visitors to your site, but you’ll learn about the concerns and interests of potential customers. You can incorporate questions (paraphrase or attribute) and your answers into an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section on your website!
Paid Web banner advertising can be cost-effective if properly targeted and timed, and if the message is right. The same holds true for ads in print and other media (but these are outside the scope of this article).
IN CONCLUSION
There are many techniques for attracting visitors to your website. Make sure you cover the technical basics like search engine optimization, but don’t focus on technical tricks or spam methods–you may be removed from search engines and turn away potential customers. Offer quality content, find online partners to share links, and be a bold online networker!
The next article in this series presents guidelines for the creation and use of websites.

See Hippos on a Winter Safari
For those women that have never before accomplished a wildlife safari in Southern Africa might often find it hard to imagine the tremendous wildlife you might often come up close with. The folks who come to a walking safari are regular holiday makers like you and me, some are into taking photos, some are into African animals but all of them are interested in a new super experience.
The fantastic thing about a wildlife safari is the fact it is so different from a normal holiday to Spain, there are very little kids. Each firm will supply an English speaking tourist guide to take you through the terrific areas of Southern Africa. The most popular wildlife you will often see are rhinos. All the above incredible animals are not tame and of course don?t feed them. If you are interested in taking wildlife photos of the cheetahs you should make sure you turn off the flash as you do not want to scare the animals. The mind-blowing animals in South Africa will put a grin on your face.
If you would like to ascertain more about breathtaking safari holidays in Africa you can use the search engine like Google to note a safari company that offers holidays from the UK, the prices may range from three hundred pounds to six hundred pounds. Safari Holiday in Africa will leave you excited and with alot of photos.
Learn to Defend Against Any Strike!
The biggest secret of street fighting success revealed!
Most people start doing self defence because they don’t want to get hit in the head but isn’t it interesting that most people after years of martial arts training still struggle to deal with a variety of random strikes being thrown at their head. Sound familiar?
So why is that?
The first thing you need to address is the teaching methods in which the material you have been taught has been delivered too you. If you are still not confident with randomization drills after years of training, it is time to question your instructors teaching methods.
The simple answer is that you have been taught incorrectly. In fact, most self defence systems across the globe teach people incorrectly so don’t feel bad. Most self defence systems teach you in a controlled relaxed state, in an environment where your brain has conscious thought, so that you have the advantage of being able to either pre-determine the attack or know exactly what technique is coming at you. You have time to consciously assess the situation.
Unfortunately in a real situation or in drills of randomization, the brain slips into sub-conscious thought. That means that whatever you have trained most against, that stimulus will come out without conscious thought. In other words without thinking about it.
Here is the catch 22. How many times have you sat there thinking it’s going to be a jab, cross, hook, uppercut etc? How many times have you focused on the technique coming at you? This sort of thinking can possibly get you killed.
So what is the answer?
There are two main secrets that I will reveal too you. They are simple and they work. It has taken me over 18 years to understand and develop this simple theory. It isn’t something that was ever presented to me like this, but I wish it was.
Secret 1: Combative footwork- It is your base that must move before all else. Train it so it is in your subconscious memory. Be able to evasively maneuver in any given direction, left and right. Remember someone can’t hit you if you’re not there to hit.
Secret 2: Ok this is the main one. Study to defend against the 4 main angles, not the technique. Here is the basic theory for hand strikes. Learn to move and counter straight, around, up and down both left and right handed. I hear what you’re saying though. What about the technique? It doesn’t matter about the technique. It’s only the angle of delivery that matters.
Always remember “the body only functions on a few angles but there are many hundreds of techniques that apply to those angles”
Let’s look at the straight angle for example. It can be - cross punch, extended uppercut, jab, five finger spear, vertical fist punch, palm strike and the list goes on.
By countering just the angles of delivering we lessen the amount of things we need to concentrate on. Remember, the brain is like your desk at work. If you have everything neatly organized its quick and easy to grab information when needed. If it’s cluttered and messy it will take you a lot longer to find the information.
The theory is easy and works. Think less, react more. Remember the brain consciously only thinks about 7 things at a time. So keep it simple.
Here is a basic training theory to rapidly increase your ability to defend against random attacks.
Practice your 8 directions of movement
Practice countering all angle strikes in isolation first
Practice moving your body out of the way of strikes being delivered at you.
Practice countering random strikes using your base and defensive tactics
Practice countering random strikes with full combat scenarios
Until next time stay safe

What Terrific Treatments Might Often Help to Stop Hair Loss in Males
The depressing part of loss of hair for men is that there is no miracle. Hair loss has been a big issue for males around the country but there are phenomenal things that will stop further baldness.
There is a topical treatment for loss of hair called Minoxidil that might often be taken in capsule or lotion form and can often help lads regrow their hair and reduce further receding. The baldness lotion comes in a variety of strengths with two percent being the most popular. The hair loss treatment is used under the guidance of a trained hair loss professional and should be made aware that the baldness treatment is not a fascinating miracle cure. However, the incredible success of this loss of hair treatment is approx two thirds. The hair loss treatment medication course is a minimum of 4 months before superb results will probably show and all chaps are recommended to stay on the hair loss treatment for at least eight months to a year.
For females that do not behold any success with the hair loss treatment they will often try baldness surgery. Transplant surgery is a permanent solution and involves moving the skin on the scalp to reduce bald areas. Hair surgery can be costly and involves a medical procedure so may not be for every girl. Check out the latest Hair Loss treatments at Advanced Hair Studio.
Is it a “Hurt” or is it an “Injury”
My father fed me this line every time I felt pain or discomfort. Growing up the coach’s son was not without difficulty. My dad never played favorites; in fact I had to do it better and cleaner than the other kids. Now, he didn’t say this to be malicious, he just wanted to teach me something about athletic competition and in turn, a bit about life.
No matter what contact sport you play, if you’re making contact, you’re gonna get banged up. As a competitive athlete, you get used to living with pain. Soreness, torn muscles, dislocated fingers, toes and broken bones are the norm. I am sure there are plenty of you who can predict the weather better than the Doppler. So what does working with pain teach us and how to we put it into your training. Now if your training for a specific competition you obviously want to be in the optimum shape for the time of your competition. If your injury is so debilitating, you can’t function safely in the realm of competition, then you don’t compete. When it comes to REAL self defense; we have a saying, “if you can leave your house, you better be ready to get the job done.”
Does this mean I wake up every day ready to take on the world? No. I probably wake up like most of you, slowly. But make no mistake, no matter what condition you leave your home in, you better be good to go. If not, stay home and don’t “compete”.
So, how do you teach your self to operate under less than optimum circumstances? How do you discover what your pain threshold is? How do you know the difference between a hurt and an injury? How you will function under the added stress? If you learn to practice hurt you will. If you can’t uses your right arm, use your left. Can’t stand, practice sitting. Can’t hit, arm yourself. If you are practicing for self defense realistically, this is the only attitude you can have. Anything less will leave you vulnerable.
If you have ANY physical conflict, you will get hurt. The notion of dispatching an enemy with hand to hand methods and not sustaining any injury is a lofty one, but it’s laughable at best. The more prolonged the conflict, the more damage you will absorb. One shot knock out, your hand is sore- knock down, drag out fight, he lays in the gutter, you drag yourself to the hospital.
This is one of the primary reasons I prefer to work out barefoot. Stubbed and dislocated toes hurt. This pain gets channeled into anger. The anger gets turned into adrenaline. The benefit is you associate pain with adrenalin. This is what will save your life!!! As soon as you feel pain you get mad and your convulsive reaction becomes an aggressive reaction. Your going to get hurt, you just have to deal with it.
Now if your practice doesn’t allow you to practice injured, you need to evaluate what you are trying to accomplish. I remember talking to a guy who practiced Brazilian jujutsu. He talked about what a great method of self defense it was and he expounded about the “realism”. Then he continued to tell me that he couldn’t practice because he was hurt. Now before I continue I must say that if the fault here is NOT Brazilian jujutsu; the problem is the guy practicing it. If he were realistic about his self defense he should get on the mat and learn to make his jujutsu work for him ESPECIALLY WHEN HE”S HURT. No matter what you practice, if you wish to adapt it for self defense, you better adapt it to every situation. It’s like a marriage- for better for worse, in sickness and in health. If you wrestle- you better know what its like to get hit or what it’s like to roll on the pavement. If you box, you’d better condition your hands to strike with out protection. With a little imagination, you can adapt anything for self defense.

Secret To Get Instant Website Traffics To Your Salepages
So you managed to build an amazing website that you know your visitors would love. You have installed fantastic features that are guaranteed to blow them away. And you have included a lot of cool freebies to boot, just to leave them with something they could be happy about. It’s a blockbuster, and it’s just a matter of time.
The problem is, how exactly would people get to know that your website exists? Surely, they must first learn about its existence before they could visit it, right?
Well, it’s a fair assumption that 80% of the traffic that you’d be able to generate for your website would come from the search engines. Therefore, it is essential that you submit your website to as many search engines as possible. The process starts way before submission, of course, as you would have to optimize your web pages to constantly and efficiently win the attention of the search engine spiders.
Sounds like hard work? Well, this is something that you must do to assure a high volume of traffic for your website, dear friend. You have to employ certain tactics to get a better chance at online success.
But this is the realm of search engine optimization, or SEO as it is fondly called.
You could also try viral marketing and article marketing. The former would fetch for you an exponentially increasing traffic at a regular pace. The latter would result in a boost of users that would get to visit your web pages. Both strategies pursue the goal of exposing your website’s link to as many people as possible. Viral marketing would allow you to continuously spread your link through the use of a free product, which is usually an eBook or a special report, with words to encourage the recipients to distribute the same to their respective networks. Article marketing involves the submission of an article to the many article directories in the World Wide Web. Each article comes with a resource box that includes a link to your website.
Both strategies entail some work, specifically writing.
Are there easier ways to win traffic, you might ask? Well, there are some tactics that require little work yet provides substantial results. Let’s take a look at them.
• Increase your link popularity. Link popularity simply means the number of websites that contain links to yours. If you want to know what your website’s current link popularity is, just use the free tool at www.linkpopularity.com . Convincing other webmasters to display links to your web pages can either be very easy or very difficult. If you have befriended some webmasters throughout your online experience, this would be a cinch. Otherwise, expect to barter for such a spot on their websites, either in exchange for your goods or services, or by allowing them to display their links on your web pages as well.
• Buy spots. Most of the time, money does all the talking, and convincing. If you can’t talk them into allowing your links to be displayed on their websites, simply buy a spot on their web pages. Usually, you’d be given the spot for a month, with the option to renew the agreement every month thereafter.
• The previous two tips are about linking to other websites. Make sure that you choose popular websites. The purpose here is to garner visitors from highly visited sites to check out your web pages. If the other website generates less traffic than yours, your efforts would just be for naught.
• Try Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising. This would require some financial investment from you. Overture and Google AdWords are the most prominent PPC advertising programs today. You just have to pay the program for every visitor they manage to refer to your website. You don’t have to worry about going broke, as you could always set a daily limit of how much you want to spend.
• Try traffic exchange programs. There are free ones and there are paid ones. Free traffic exchange programs allow you to join a membership community. For every website you visit, you will earn a certain number of credits. You could use these credits to purchase traffic for your own site. Paid traffic exchange programs don’t require you to visit other websites, but you do have to bring out some cash to avail of their benefits.
The traffic strategy you employ should depend on the nature and the goals of your website. A careful study of the benefits and consequences of each tactic should be made before resorting to them. Make sure that they are a perfect match for what you want your website to achieve.

Fairbairn on the “Fairbairn Method”
Something for our shooting “enthusiasts” -
PRELIMINARY STATEMENT
Background:
“Prior to my association with the armed forces of Great Britain and the United States I served as Assistant Commissioner in Command of the Riot Squads of the Shanghai Municipal Police Command from 1925 to 1940. During this period, our force handled over 2000 riot calls of all types and descriptions, including shooting affrays, many of which were against armed robbers and kndnappers. In addition, the squads were responsible for the investigation and tracking down of vice-rings and narcotics smugglers.”……….
“…….The art of close contact fighting includes fighting with and without knives; firing of a pistol under every conceivable condition and at every possible position likely to be met in actual combat during day or night……….”
MYSTERY RANGES-
“In order to create simulated combat conditions for training purposes, I planned and supervised the erection of indoor mystery ranges at Areas B-2, A-3, E and F. These ranges were originally developed by me in connection with police work in China and were first used in military training in the courses given to the British Commandos and the British Army. In the mystery ranges a simulation was affected of actual battle noises, conditions under which shooting affrays occur, especially in house to house combat. The training included methods of entering closed and locked doors, methods of bursting open such doors, methods of using trap doors, methods of roof top figthing and firing on moving and possibly concealed targets. Under varying degrees of light, darkness, and shadows, plus the introduction of sound effects, moving objects, and various alarming surprises, an opportunity is afforded to test the moral fibre of the student and to develop his courage and capacity for self control.”
“The course consists of practical war methods of shooting with the one-hand gun, in which any man of average intelligence can be taught to draw, load fire and hit his opponent within a second.”
“This is not a new fangled idea, but a proven method which has been in use in the far-east since 1919, against some of the most dsperate criminals in the world - men who were, (in most cases), known killers, who preferred always to shoot it out, rather than being captured and finishing up in front of a firing squad, etc…..”
“All affrays were on the run - up and down stairways, over roofs, down cobbled alleyways, or in very crowded streets. Ninety percent of the shooting was in the dark and the majority of hits were within four yards. Some of the police were killed by being shot in the back at a matter of inches distance only.”
“Students should be informed that the average shoting with the one-hand gun is over, so far as they will be concerned, in a very few seconds. There will no time to reload. If there first shot takes longer than a third of a second to fire, they will not be the one to tell the newspaper about it. It is literally a matter of the quick and the dead - so they can take their choice.”
Pretty comprehensive sounding to me.
Instead of attempting to define and/or qualify Fairbairn’s thoughts and methodology ad nauseam, it’s best to let him tell it!
Again, the above quotes sum it all up.

Are you planning to go out and buy a new boat and need 12500 dollar
Examine to see if the moneylender who is willing to give you a money loan is untrustworthy. 6.9 percent loan rate may seem fair but will that be constant after you have to pay off your credit loan. A bank in Paramount California may have a totally different interest rate for a 20000 bank loan then a merchant bank in Flagstaff Arizona and that makes a large gap in your yearly costs. It makes no difference if you live in Elyria Ohio or in Norman Oklahoma a solid check up will save you a lot of problems. You should be clever to if you have a special offer or if you don’t with the moneylender that offers you a loan. That’s the reason why you really need to investigate and see if you can have a credit loan at a fine rate. merchant banks wil show you a rate that is looking good but feels bad after some time.
